Poor sleep also increases risks of developing mental health issues, so absenteeism/ sickness rates and staff turnover increase.  Early signs might be staff being more emotionally unstable than is normal for them, this might present as angry, rude, abrasive or withdrawn, sad and emotional, the key for managers and colleagues is to notice a change in someone's normal behaviour.

The Workshop is approx. 3 hours long (incl. breaks) giving them time to understand their own personal sleep issues, the impact it is likely having on their health, developing strategies for coping with pressure and stress (possible anxiety) and a personal plan to start improving their sleep from day 1.  The workshop will highlight to them how to feel better, eat better and how to live with work schedules not fight against them.  Improved Sleep has been demonstrated to improve safety, retention, absenteeism (physical, mental and emotional health) and productivity.

 

Message us to work out what you need & when for your sleep Workshop, around 12 (15 max) is ideal maximum for a workshop.  We can come to you or arrange a venue close by, Workshops don't have to be delivered during office hours we can adjust to suit your workforce (24/7).  Workshops can be done online, via Zoom if individuals have access to quiet location and suitable connection speeds and stability.  People joining with handheld devices will be asked to leave workshop.

 

We can also deliver "Talks" to larger groups of employees (so far the maximum has been 75 employees, at Orsted), the interactive and personal plan side are less effective in this, but the underlying message remains constant.

 

Cost will be dependent on many factors, so each workshop will be individually priced but a base price of £900 per workshop for up to 15 staff (or 2 smaller workshops on the same work day) would apply for a venue on your own site (or you book your own workshop venue) delivered during office hours, in England/Wales.  Other options available, contact us with your requirements.

Talks are for larger groups of over 15 employees and can only be delivered in person.

 

General consulting with senior management on sleep considerations for policies and procedures to deliver improved safety and productivity, can also be arranged.
